The facility’s natural gas-powered CHP system, powered by an MTU Onsite Energy Series 4000 engine, has so far cut energy bills by 12% and generated US$200,000 in savings in its first year of operation. The system also supports Diltex’s environmental initiatives, with a projected reduction of 3,570 equivalent tons of CO2 per year.
