INNIO’S WAUKESHA GAS ENGINES PROVIDE HIGH OVERALL EFFICIENCY AND LOW EMISSIONS TO DISTRICT HEATING PLANT IN GERMANY

INNIO has announced the successful commissioning of a modernised district heating plant with Waukesha VHP 9394GSI rich-burn gas engines with grid code certification supplied by its authorized Channel Partner for Waukesha gas engines, S&L Energie-Projekte GmbH (S&L). The plant meets high overall efficiency (electrical and thermal) and low emissions. For the project, S&L provided four packages of INNIO’s Waukesha gas engines to Stadtwerke Lutherstadt Wittenberg GmbH in Germany. Germany has announced it will cut all greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2020.
