GRUPEL CHOSEN TO PROVIDE GENSETS TO ONE OF LONDON’S LARGEST WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS

Grupel has been an established manufacturer of medium voltage generation equipment, having installed more than 93MW in generators within the last 5 years. Grupel is directly involved in a project to provide medium voltage gensets for one of the largest wastewater treatment plants near London. This will consist of four 3.3 MVA generator units, each available in synchronized mode with the genset and the mains, offering direct output from the alternator to 11 KV. The units are encapsulated in a super-silent 45ft container, designed specifically for this application – each provides sufficient noise attenuation to achieve 80dB at 1 metre (as required in the project specification).
