GENERAC ILLUMINATES BENIN WITH TOWERS DRIVEN BY GENSETS

Monday, February 18th, 2019

Porto Novo is Benin’s capital and the nation’s second-largest city, located on an inlet of the Gulf of Guinea. Generac Mobile Products has supplied VT8 Lighting Towers driven by Perkins 403D-11 engines, said to provide excellent power density, fuel economy, quiet operation and consistent performance in the extreme conditions – heat & damp – of the tropics. The self-powered VT8s have been successfully used in large-scale city construction projects at Porto Novo since 2016. The compact footprint and ease of use are two main features which make the VT8 light tower one of the top models in the Generac Mobile® range.
