ALGERIA’S OIL SECTOR GETS A BOOST FROM COELMO GENSETS

Italian generator set experts COELMO has helped one of Algeria’s leading oil companies to refine its production processes with a bespoke generator solution supported by Perkins 4006-23TAG2A engines.
COELMO’s experienced technical team devised a solution comprising 12 COLEMO gensets, each of which is powered by a Perkins 4006-23TAG2A engine (4000 Series). These units are turbocharged and air-to-air charge-cooled, providing economical and durable operation and excellent power-to-weight ratio and load acceptance, says the manufacturer. Each generator is able to supply 800kVA and each installed inside a 20-foot container. In an average year the users expect the gensets to supply an average of about 4,500 hours (187 days-and-nights) of dependable power.
