GE POWER 6F.03 GAS TURBINES INSTALLED AT KOREA ZINC’S LNG COMBINED CYCLE PLANT

Two GE Power 6F.03 gas turbines will power Korea Zinc’s LNG Combined Cycle Power Plant located in Onsan, Ulsan City of Korea. The plant will generate more than 270 MW of power using LNG as a fuel source – the electricity will be used in local industrial operations at the site.. The 6F.03 gas turbines can generate up to 87MW of power in simple cycle applications, says GE. The projects is scheduled for completion by January 2021.
